A Word About Privacy Policies and Non Public Information
Recent legislative changes require that our firm monitor closely the dissemination of what the regulations refer to as "non-public" information.
The rules are complicated and don't require a complete review of all the nuances.
Suffice to say that you can help us guard against the release or misuse of non-public information by reviewing the following:
1. Non-public information is deemed to be the use of:
a. Your first name and last name, or;
b. Your first initial and last name, in combination with;
1. any numeric identifier, such as your social security number, drivers license number, State identification number, ATM or Debit Card number, credit card numbers, etc.
For this reason, be sure that any form you submit to us by either email, fax or other electronic means does not include the information as noted above. To be safe include your first and last name but please OMIT account numbers or other numeric indentifiers from your form. We will complete this information for you upon receipt.
As always, if you have any questions, please feel free to call us at 908.979.1505.
